Each time we make an update or change to our design, it will appear here.
Foundation Design
The goal of the foundations team is to perform a thourough soil analysis of the bridge area. We will then design the foundation for each side of the bridge. The design will be either driven piles, drilled shafts or a shallow foundation. This decision will be based on the soil analysis we perform. Once the design and analysis has started, our updates will appear here.
Structural Analysis
The goal of the structural team is to design a bridge that will be both structurally viable and aesthetically pleasing. The design will be based on the most viable design per the principles of steel design, reinforced concrete design or a combination of both. The bridge will be designed per the specifications set by organizations such as the AISC, ACI, and the NJDOT. ​Outside consulting from organizations such as the NJDOT will also be utilized. Once the design is started, our updates will appear here.
